Nanditadhya is a small metrical work in Prakrt, on Prosody. It consists of 95 gathas and is accompanied by a brief commentary in Sanskrt. Both the text and commentary were composed by a Jain writer Ratnacandra, who according to the Jain Granthavali, pp. 109 and
159, wrote his commentary on Munisundara's Adhyatmakalpadruma in Samvat 1674, (a MS.of this com., i. e. Kielhorn, Reports, II. No. 361,is dated Samvat 1683) and Hitopades’a in Samvat 1677. According to Peterson, Reports,III. p. 224, Ratnacandra belonged to the Mandavyapuragaccha,was the pupil of Devananda and had the title Mahakavi as he was the author of 108 prakaranas.
