Notes/Description : A work on Rhetoric in four Pratanas, each divided into several Stabakas. It was composed by Jain writer called Amarecandra, pupil of Jinadatta of the Vayadagaccha. The commentary was written by the author himself.In this work Amaracandra refers to his other works, namely Chandoratnavali, Kavyakalpalataparimala with Manjari and Alankaraprabodha. Amaracandra was assisted by Arisinha in the composition. Jinadatta, the guru of Amaracandra was the author of Vivekavilasa and other works (see N0. 1659 below) and lived at the time of the minister Vastupala,about the middle of the 13th century.
