Cata., this Somes’vara was also the author of Kirtikaumudi; this is rather doubtful owing to the difference of ancestors of the two). His Pras'astis on mount Abu are dated 1232-52 (A. D. ). He was purohita to Bhimadeva and a client of Vastupala and Tejpala.The present MS. was copied from a very old palm-leaf MS. dated Samvat 1283, in the Jesal-mir Bhandar; cf. Dalal, Cat. of Jesal.
