Notes/Description : Vis'esavas'yakabhasya is a Prakrit metrical commentary composed by Jinabhadragani Ksamas’ramana,on Bhadrabahu’s Niryukti on the Samayikadhyayana, which is a part of the Avas’yakasutra.The Vrtti on this Bhasya was composed by Hemacandra, pu. of Abhayadeva of the Maladhari Gaccha, in Sam. 1175. See above No. 1388 for his commentary on the Ahuyogadvara. According to Hemacandra,Jinabhadra himself with Kotyacarya had written a commentary on his own Bhasya. For. quotations,see Weber, 11., p. 787 ff.The Bhasya with Hemacandra’s Vrtti is published in the Yas’ovijaya Jaina Granthamala,Bhavanagar, and with Gujrati translation based on Hemacandra's Vrtti, by the Agamodaya Samiti, Bombay, 1924. The Samiti has also published an alphabetical index of the Gathas of the Bhasya.
