| Notes/Description | : | A commentary on Gautamaprcchi by S'ritilaka,pupil of Devahhadrasuri, pupil of Abhayadevasuri,the founder of the Rudrapalliya Gaccha.The commentary was composed during the spiritual reign of Candrasuri, successor of Prabhanandasuri, suc. of the above-named Devabhadrasuri,who is said to have made a Pratistha in Sam. 1302 on Mount Abu; see Jinavijaya.Pracinajainalekhasangraha,II. Nos. 209-210.Our author was made an Upadhyaya by Candrasuri's pupil Gunas’ekhara. Sanghatilaka, a pupil of this Gunas’ekhara wrote his commentary on Samyaktvasaptati in Sam. 1422; see Peterson.Reports, I. p. 92. Our author thus seems to have flourished in the 2nd half of the 14th century of the Vikrama Era.Another Tilakacarya, pupil and successor of S’ivaprabha of the Purnima Gaccha was an earlier writer. He composed his Pratyeka-buddhacarita in Sam. 1261; Jitakalpavrtti in Sam. 1274; Samyaktvavrtti in Sam. 1277;Avas’yakaniryuktivrtti in Sam. 1296 and Das'avaikalikatika in Sam. 1304.
