Cikitsakalika also called Yogamala, a work on Medicine in 452 s’lokas, composed by Tisatacarya, son of Vagbhata and father of Candrata. This Candrata wrote a commentary on his father’s Cikitsakalika, and revised the text of the Sus’rutasanhita (cf. I. 0., No.2646). Candrata’s date is about 1000 A. D.,since he quotes Drdhabala (about 900 A. D.)and is quoted by S’rikanthadatta (about 1260A. D.) on Siddhayoga; see Hoemle, Osteology,p. 100; Jolly, Medicine, p. 5.
