Madanavinodanighantu, a dictionary of Materia Medica, composed in Samvat 1431 by King Madanapala of the Taka family. The work Consists of 14 chapters. For Madanapala's commentary on the Surya-siddhanta, see No. 294, below, where he describes himself as the author of works on Smrti, Astronomy and Medicine and refers to his title 'Abhinavabhoja' . He particularly mentions two of his astronomical works, i. e. Siddhantagarbha,also called Madanavinoda, and Yantraprakas’a. |
