A Work on Rasa in 19 chapters, composed by Govinda Bhiksu, at the request of a Kirata prince, called Madana,of the Haiheya family. The commentary is by Caturbhuja, son of Mahes'a,of the Kurala. family. For another MS., cf.I. 0., No. 2617. Rasahrdaya is quoted in Madavacarya’s Sarvadars'anasangraha(about 1350 A. D.). The commentator Caturbhuja Mis’ra, son of Mahes’a Mis’ra of the Kurala family appears to have been patronised by some prince, at whose instance he wrote the commentary. Can this be that Caturbhuja, who was patronised by Sayastakhan and who composed his Rasakalpadruma in Sam. 1785 ? Cf. Stein, Kas'mir Catalogue,p. XXXV and Peterson, Ulwar Cata., p. 78,Extract No. 225. |
