Sures’vara was a courtphysician to king Bhimapala of Padi, his father having acted in a similar capacity to King Ramapala of Bengal. See I. O., No. 2739 for another work called S'abdapradipa of S’ures'vara.He was also the author of Vrksayurveda, which was probably the work known to S'arngadharapaddhati,A. D. 1363; cf.
