Notes/Description : Bijaganita with a commentary by Suryadasa,composed in S'ake 1460, when the author was Only thirty-one years old. Surya was the son of Jnanaraja (author, Siddhantasundara, No. 289 below) and the grandson of Naganatha. Surya composed his Ganitimrtakupika in 1541 A. D.In the concluding verses he describes himself as the author of eight works and says that his father was the author of four works, one on Astronomy, one on Horoscopy, one on Rhetoric and one on Music.
