Notes/Description : The MS. is incomplete. It contains adhys.XI, XII and XIII of the Suryasiddanta with the Bhasya of Candes’vara, a Maithila, who appears to have written in 1185 A. D., as he uses the Sake year 1107 or the Kali year 4286 in two places in his illustrations. Mallikarjuna,who had commented upon the Suryasiddhanta, is quoted by him on fol. 43. In addition to Mallikarjuna,Candes’vara quotes S'isyadhimahatantra of Lalla, Siddhantaprakas’a, and Siddhantasara on fol. 1. Adhyaya XI is separately paged. For another MS., cf.
