Camatkaracintamani is a work on Astrology composed by Rajarsibhatta who must have lived before the close of the 16th century, since, a MS. of a commentary on this work (Buhler,Gujrat Cata., IV. p. 130, No. 96) is dated Samvat 1657. Das'acintamani (Mitra, Notices,
No. 2970; Aufrecht, Cat. Cata., I. p. 502a.thinks that this work was composed in A. D.1634, which is, however, not possible) and Yoginidas'adhyaya (Buhler, Guj. Cata., IV. p.184) are other works of Rajarsi, who was the son of Kalyana and Dundara and the resident of Dadhicyapura. The text is accompanied by Gujrati explanation written between the lines. The MS.contains only the Bhavadhyaya. The work is quoted in Vis’ves’a’s Tithinirnaya;see No. 308 below. Also, cf. Bendall, Bri. Mus.,Sk. Cat., p. 209a. |
