A work on Astrology in twenty chapters composed by S'ripati who lived in the latter half of the eleventh century. He refers to S'aka year 961 in his Dhikotikarana; see above No. 244. According to Mahadeva, son of Luniga, who wrote a commentary on Ratnamala
in S’ake 1185, (see Ulwar Cata., Extract, No.498) S’ripati belonged to the Kas’yapa gotra and was the son of Nagadeva and grandson of Kes’ava. Cf. S’ripati is quoted by Narayana in his Muhurtamartandavallabha (A. D. 1573;see below No. 321 ) and many other writers.Daivajnavallabha (No. 310 below) is another work of S'ripati. |
