Notes/Description : Another treatise in 16 verses on the same subject, ascribed to Vyadi; accompanied by a commentary by Anantacarya, son of Nagadeva.According to the commentator, Vyadi's treatise is much older than that of Hayagriva. The treatise is intended for the S’ais’iriya Samamnaya i. e. the S’akala S'akha of the Rgveda; see the commentary. The commentator is perhaps the same as the author of Kathamrtanidhi for which see Hall, Index, p. 183; I. O., No. 4088.
