This is the krdanta portion of the Saraswatiprakriya of Anubhutiswarupacarya. The MS.,however, calls the work by the name Mahidasbhatti. Both the covers bear the name and all the folios are marked म० दा० भ० or महीदासभट्टी. Are we to suppose, then that Mahidasa is only another name of Anubhutiswarupacarya? That this portion was called Mahibhatti or Mahidasabhatti is also corroborated by I. O., No. 799. A third name of Anubhutiswarupa was Narendra-Nagari, as known to Vis’wes’warabdhi, his commentator. See Nos. 62 and 63 below. For information, cf. Belwalkar, Systems, pp. 91-104, and S. Ch. Vidyabhusana in J. A.S, B., New Series, Vol. IV. (1903 ), p. 593 ff. For other MSS., cf. I. O., Nos. 790-800; Bod. Cata., No. 382; Weber, Nos. 773-75. |
