Notes/Description : The MS. contains only the Brahmagita in 12 Adhyayas from the Yajnavaibhavakhanda of the Sutasanhita, with the commentary of Madhavacarya, the famous vedic scholar and the founder of the Vijayanagar empire and who is usually known as Vidyaranya. See Hall, Index.p. 123; I. O., No. 3688. Sutasanhita is published with this commentary in the A. S. Series Poona.The earliest reference to this work of Vidyaranya is found in the Purusarthaprabodha of Brahma nandabharati; see above No. 699 (quotations).Tryambaka seems to be Madhavacarya's Guru before the Diksa.
