Amarakos’a with the commentary of Ksiraswamin who lived in the eleventh century A. D.This Ksiraswamin cannot be identical with the grammarian Ksira who flourished under King Jayapida (8th century) and is mentioned at Rajatarangini, IV. 489, since the former quotes the dramatist Rajas’ekhara and Bhoja. See Winternitz, Geschichte, III. p. 412. Both the text and the commentary are often published.Another well-known commentator of Amarakos’a is Brhaspati Rayamukutamani who wrote a Commentary in 1431 A.
