Notes/Description : Hastijanaprakas’a is Mahakavya consisting of 13 Kiranas or cantos, describing the rise of the two cities of Hastijana and Baihola and the history of the line of the Bsihola kings of Gujrat who were originally Solankhis, by Bhatta Ksemendra, son of Yadu and Hansi. The lineal descendents of the great king Hastijit are given as follows in the last i. e. the 13th chapter :…हस्तिजित्-बहुसेन-योगराज-यृथ्वीराज-भीमसेन चन्द्रसेन-श्रीजित्-शिचजित्-मण्डनजित्-पावुजित्-रब्रजित्-and मेघराज.The last appears to be the contemporary of the poet. The poets' father Yadu was a court-Pandit of King Rannajit:—
